My name is Barbara Anderson. I am the Founder of the Lily LaRue Foundation. We started this in honor of our daughter, Lily LaRue and her brave journey and battle with DIPG. Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma is an inoperable brain tumor located in the brainstem;It is a death sentence upon diagnosis. She was given 3-6 months to live. Our Lily fought valiantly for 11 months and 2 days. She touched thousands all over the world and we continue to honor her fight and light via privately funded research and safe and directed medical treatment as well as supporting the hundreds of families who's children are diagnosed every year.
